WAVEMOD 2.6  User Interface Guide

If you really don't understand the interface :-)

Staying with the mouse on a control shows a tooltip


Modulation Settings
-------------------

Sampling   : The Sampling Frequency at which you capture the sound
Modulation : The frequency of the carrier you use to modulate the sound
Buffers    : The number of buffers you want to use for the modulation
             (More buffers ==> Lower latency)
Priority   : The priority you want to give to WAVEMOD
Delay      : The delay after which WAVEMOD starts modulation (see WAVEMOD.TXT for further details)


Tray Icon
---------

Double Click : Start / Stop
Right  Click : Popup Menu


Audio Settings
--------------

Vol        : General volume level
Out        : Line Out level
In         : Line In level
Bass       : Bass level   (for the cards that support it)
Treble     : Treble level (for the cards that support it)
Fade       : Input fading level (to avoid saturation) (not available while running)
Mute In    : Mutes Line In  (Auto Mute on Start)
Offset     : Compensates the offset of some cards which may improve sound quality
             Try different values until you find that the sound is better


Other Settings
--------------


Language     : Changes the tooltip language
Save         : Saves the parameters (they're automatically loaded when you start WAVEMOD)
Restore      : Restores the parameters (the ones that have been previously saved !)
AutoStart    : Automatically starts modulation when WAVEMOD is launched
AutoDetect   : Automatically enables demodulation if a modulated signal is detected
               (The use of Autodetection may slow down a little the process and may highly
                depend on your TV reception)
Start Hidden : Automatically hides the setup dialog on starting.
Exit         : Exits  :-)


A double click on the dialog box hides it  (not on the controls)
The dialog box now supports dragging (not on the controls)
